Quantity Surveyor

We are recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established business operating across infrastructure, heavy construction and the wider building materials sector.
This is an opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of projects, work closely with operational teams and directly influence project profitability.
The Role
You will support the commercial management of projects from initial procurement through to final account.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing project costs and commercial performance
- Preparing valuations and applications
- Managing subcontractor procurement
- Reviewing and agreeing subcontractor payments
- Identifying and managing variations
- Supporting monthly commercial reporting
- Monitoring commercial risk
- Working closely with project and operational teams
- Maintaining relationships with clients and supply chain partners
- Supporting contract administration
- Maximising commercial efficiency across assigned projects
What We Are Looking For
You will ideally have experience within:
- Civil engineering
- Highways
- Surfacing
- Infrastructure
- Utilities
- Construction
- Heavy industrial projects
We will consider established Quantity Surveyors and ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyors ready to take on greater responsibility.
A relevant surveying or commercial qualification would be advantageous.
