From picking up the phone in his early sales days to building teams for global banks, Tom Andrews didn't "fall" into recruitment, he charged into it, driven by a hunger to do things differently. After cutting his teeth in high stakes markets like Software Engineering, Cloud, and Front Office Trading for one of the world’s largest banks, he realised that the industry wasn’t broken — just misaligned.

So, he set out to fix it…

Tom founded Andrews Recruitment Group Ltd. (ARG) not just to place talent, but to build trust, deliver with integrity, and challenge outdated recruitment models within the Engineering, Industrial and Healthcare sectors. Tom adopted a full “Candidate First” approach to his recruitment agency, he puts people before placements. Candidates have become his clients, he partners with them and supports then in finding their ideal role. But the mission didn’t stop there.

Watching smaller agencies collapse under the pressure of competition and isolation, Tom launched RecXchange — a global ecosystem designed to flip the script. Instead of recruiters working against each other, RecXchange empowers them to collaborate, share roles and candidates, and split fees — all while keeping ownership of their clients and candidates. RecXchange, also allows recruiters to have a go to platform that can do it all, instead of having several tools such as an ATS, CRM, Job Boards, Networking, Emails and Social Media integration, all on different platforms, not talking to each other, why not have them all under one digital roof and at a fraction of the cost?

His goal?
To build a workforce of recruiters united by fairness, transparency, and shared success — and to stop the unnecessary closure of recruitment businesses by giving them access to more roles, more reach, and more revenue. This isn’t just recruitment. This is a movement.
