We’re seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead and support a team of Community Nurses across the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse with strong leadership skills who is ready to step up and shape the delivery of community-based healthcare services.
About the Role
As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you’ll be operationally responsible for a team of Community Nurses, ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centred care is consistently delivered. Your role will balance clinical leadership, operational management, and service development — working closely with senior stakeholders and healthcare partners to maintain excellence across the service.
You will:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Community Nurses, ensuring professional standards and compliance at all times.
Oversee clinical governance, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements, including audits and quality assurance.
Provide expert clinical advice and act as the escalation point for complex cases.
Ensure KPIs are achieved, covering clinical competency, patient experience, and service delivery standards.
Drive service improvements through innovation, reflective practice, and continuous professional development for your team.
Manage resources effectively, balancing clinical priorities with operational demands.
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, commissioners, and patients’ families.
This role is perfect for a nurse who loves leading people as much as caring for patients — someone who can combine empathy with strong organisational and leadership skills.
What We’re Looking For
NMC Registered Nurse (Adult or Children’s).
Substantial post-registration experience, ideally with time spent in a community or homecare setting.
Previous experience in a leadership, supervisory, or management role.
Strong knowledge of clinical governance, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills.
Confident in managing budgets, KPIs, and operational resources.
IT literacy (comfortable with Android-based devices and clinical systems).
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region.
Desirable but not essential:
Experience with CVAD management, infusion therapies, or parenteral nutrition.
Formal leadership/management qualification.
