Meet the Team - Daniel Andrews, Specialist Consultant

Daniel is affiliated with A.R.G Social Care as a Specialist Consultant, he will support and offer guidance to the team in best practice, insights and acting as the 1st stage interviewer on any candidates our clients require. Daniel has been working in Social Care since 2008 and continues to work in the sector today. He has a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care.

For nearly a decade, Daniel was the registered manager (RM) of a supported living and domiciliary care service. During this time, he managed a team of approx. eighty (80) staff. In addition, in all CQC inspections that were carried out during his tenure, his service always achieved “Good” in every key question, and “Good” overall.

As of this writing, Daniel is a ‘Contract and Quality Officer’ for a local authority in the Midlands. That is, he monitors services in the region, from residential to domiciliary care (much like a CQC inspector does). Therefore, he is required to have a robust understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, which regulated services are assessed against, and best practice guidance.

Daniel is passionate about “driving up quality” in services and understands, from first-hand experience, the vital role the workforce plays in achieving good and outstanding services.
